Replying To Meath_True:  "Joe Sheridan , Shane McArney ,Eamon Moyles and a host of others were also to be involved last year , did that not happen . Maybe ye should go see them train to really know who helps out here . but it matters not . Once they are successful it matters not who looks after them . Bringing a bit of pride back into the Royal is what its about."
My apologies if I'm wrong but I was told that dathi whyte and Ger Robinson were also part of the management team. Obviously I haven't been to watch them train so can only go on what I was told.

Replying To LeitrimRoyal99:  "Liam Byrne probably and possibly Sean Ryan. Apart from that probably not. McBride is very good but he is only under 16 so he'll be playing 17's next year"
think mcbride should be midfield?

Probably, although he is targeted for lots of kickouts and ends up in the middle 3rd an awful lot anyway

I also see they done that without Costello and McBride who are on the under 17's. Good signs indeed

Do you reckon they got a chance to beat them ?

Couldn't make it tonight but it sounded like we fully deserved to win. Really hope we will beat Dublin in the final now, in the first game we showed that we are better than them but it wouldn't be too mad to think that we could lose to them in the final.

Any idea where it will be?

How wonderfully refreshing and encouraging this Under 17 championship is, to reach a final by beating Dublin and Kildare is a sign of the hard work going on at underage and reaching the final of the Gerry Reilly as well, been a while since I felt so optimistic aboust the future, a win in both finals would be a fantastic weekend for Meath football, that can't really be overstated

It has to be a neutral venue and this will be decided upon today. I would imagine Meath will push for a double header in Nowlan Park with the Juniors.

It's definitely not on before the All-Ireland JFC semi-final. Decision on a venue is being made at a meeting of the Leinster Council later this evening.
