You can be disappointed about yesterday, but looking at it again it was the Laois game that really snookered us. We really did not do ourselves justice in that game. We had very few real goal chances yesterday but we missed 4 or 5 of them against Laois. Had we even kept that game within 10 points and yesterday's games went the same, we'd have stayed up on points difference. Ratoath Royal (Meath) - Posts: 1362 - 15/05/2017 16:57:32 1986878 Link 9 |
We are all disappointed, and we will await the football team that will take to the field in the championship to see if James Toher is included, enough said about that. For all we know his ash may have been turned to cash by you know whom!!!!!!!! As for the transfer market I don't think so. Long term it really does not help a county team, to my mind while we had a few in the only one that stayed with the team long term was Enda Fitzgerald and he eventually transferred to a club in Meath and is still hurling there. If we could get some of our transfers out back it would also help, here I am referring to Jack Fagan's transfer to De la Salle in Waterford. He could still play with De la Salle and still play with Meath. MillerX (Meath) - Posts: 1066 - 15/05/2017 20:09:15 1986941 Link 0 |
