Replying To southmeathgael:  "Last thing I'm gonna say regarding biggy....not too many of our lads..none in fact would warrant a man marking job by Lee Keegan...and give him his fill of it too"
There obviously going to man mark the oppositions best player ! What else are they going to do!

Right lads--settle this for now...

Green thumb--biggie stays for next game
Red thumb--biggie gets dropped

Would love to see forde get the captain's armband next year."
We have our captain, and I cant see it changing next year.

Ah yeah...Too early to be talking about next year. Just saying I'm more of a fan of forde for captain than current captain

It's unlikely that the captain will be on the bench for the Championship this year and all of next year. Jk RD don't explode!

Replying To royaldunne:  "I think that post says it all really. Btw a Westport supporter beside me said and I quote. " can we do the reverse with that Reilly lad , like you did with the Lyons, we would win a all ire" the only people who cant see grahams attributes are his own. Pathetic indeed."
100% correct, iv a lot of family in Roscommon and they can't believe how good he is, they regard him as one of the best wing forwards in the country, thank god Andy has a bit of sense and doesn't view him like some of these doubters

He is a fine player! No dispute I just feel there is more in him ! Too many off days ! There is no better sight than him tearing up the field and spitting the posts !

Agree 100%.
Anyways I've had my say.
And unfortunately this will be a game i cant attend, my little miracle boy (born very premature) and spent nine weeks in hospital, and still has regular trips up to crumlin and into Mullingar, will be getting christened on Sunday, I had asked that it be 16 but due to some dude rising from the dead they wont permit it, I tried to explain that the royals last league match with possibilities of promotion was more important, however they were having none of it (typical westies attitude)
So I unfortunately cant go to Ennis but ill ne there in spirit, would appreciate updates from those there suns etc. Thanks.
Hon the Royal

Replying To Uncle_Fester:  "Regarding the high work rate Andy demands from his forwards it looks like a real pity about Alan Ford, I know nothing has been confirmed but I fear the worst which is a real pity I thought he had a super league so far this year.

He'll be a big loss this year in my opinion, he really suits the modern half forward role."
yeah and can do a job wing back too. he got the injury by getting stuck in. he is quick, strong, mobile, good passer of the ball and hard worker. huge loss and tough on him as he only returned for us too.
