You have got to be joking putting SJ in the same level as Bradley. SJ did nothing to tell the manager that he has what it takes. Another question that might be asked is would the current panel be happy to see him back. I for one would hope he is kept away from the current set up

Seanie has to come back. We have no great inside forwards and tnot one 21 team has produced a good forward yet.

The county don't want him it's time to move on, you would think he was god almighty he is not good enough it's that simple.

Utter rubbish !!Then how did we win 4 U21 Ulster Titles in a row ? There is some grand forwards there and if we played a different style of football we would get a lot more scores. Some people have short memories. How many Ulster titles at any grade did we win before this crop of young players came along? Not too many.

As for Seanie I have no real objections to him coming back. A very talented forward no doubt but maybe he has to change his attitude a bit. No man is bigger than the team and as somebody once said "there is no I in TEAM"

People of Cavan: The Seanie ship has sailed. Lets move on.

Now then...

Anybody know the top scorers in the ACFL this year? I know the aforementioned man may be up there but who else have we? Any more power that we can bring to the forward line? If we can address midfield and the half forward line then we will be hard to beat next year!

I know Barry Reilly is back in training. Alan Clarke I think is not going back in this year

they are definitely back in training so whoever you were talking to should be worried about his place on the panel if hes not involved

will we ever have a full panel to pick from. it seems there is always one or two top players out for one reason or another. Givney will be a big loss to the panel. On his day one of the best footballers in the county.

I thought that collective training was banned until a certain date and this depends on when you were knocked out of the championship, so I doubt the panel is back training a month as one poster suggests ... Givney is gonna be missed but he hasn't hit the heights that someone like Darren Hughes of Monaghan has and they are of similar age ... I suppose the injury would have meant he was gonna miss some of the league anyway - its tough on these players to give 100% commitment when they are living and working over an hour away.

Their training all right for the last month at least. Running and gym. No collective training as such.

A loss for sure, but Argue has a place there for the taking alongside Gearoid, hopefully he makes it his own this coming year.

Heard word about givney a while ago and also heard another senior player mightn't be committing. Onwards and upwards.

David Wright could be an addition so with Givney and Leddy gone.

I know quite a few cavan supporters, the type that go to all McKenna cup and league games, that will stop following the team if SJ is back in. He is not wanted or needed despite what some of his Gaels pals on here think, even the ones who pretend they are from other clubs
