is it only the Hogan Stand Lower that is going to be open? also it appears that you can sit anywhere in the Lower? neilarmstron9 (Cavan) - Posts: 110 - 11/04/2014 10:13:43 1573660 Link 0 |
Looks like its unreserved seating indeed in the hogan lower. I think thats what UNHL01. I could be open to correction,Not sure if the atmosphere will be great tho with a 1/4 open croker. Yes i know its great to be playing in croker but would ya not love to have a fantastic atmosphere in a smaller ground. Lostincavan (Cavan) - Posts: 10 - 11/04/2014 10:24:51 1573669 Link 0 |
Toss a coin for Hyde Park or Breffni, would result in a much better atmosphere... Fat Boy (Cavan) - Posts: 372 - 11/04/2014 10:31:25 1573676 Link 0 |
Tough game in prospect, but we seem to have injuries clearing up just at the right time, would be nice to land a bit of silverware before championship to boost the lads confidence. Ned_Stormcrow (Cavan) - Posts: 1071 - 11/04/2014 11:17:03 1573714 Link 0 |
not interested in this game. As far as I am concerned Cavan won division 3. We are promoted. end of story. roll on the ulster championship. s goldrick (Cavan) - Posts: 5518 - 11/04/2014 19:35:10 1573979 Link 0 |
Fair enough S Goldrick, I know where you're coming from, a league means the winner finishes top i.e. Cavan, but it would be nice to win that trophy nonetheless! Ned_Stormcrow (Cavan) - Posts: 1071 - 11/04/2014 21:43:57 1574034 Link 0 |
Being half arsed about it gets you nowhere - Cavan will want to win the game as much as they will want to win against Armagh on June 8th. 2 Teams get promoted hence why there this is a league League. Its not the Premiership where the top team wins the League FoolsGold (Cavan) - Posts: 2763 - 12/04/2014 09:54:30 1574074 Link 0 |
It is vital we turn in a good performance in Croke park on the 26th and win...we need to keep the momentment going before the Armagh game... We also need to be more attack minded as I fear the way we are set up is not going to beat any team with a bit of quality...!!! Sean66 (Cavan) - Posts: 440 - 12/04/2014 10:13:30 1574083 Link 0 |

You are saying Cavan won Division 3, they topped the table thats all - 2 games get promoted hence why there is a final. Also dont understand why you would over look a compettive game. Playing a competitoive game ahead of the championship is a plus and keeps the team focused FoolsGold (Cavan) - Posts: 2763 - 12/04/2014 13:04:17 1574145 Link 0 |
Thanfully your not Cavan manager with that type of thinking. Donegal & Monaghan will be going all to win Division 2, as will the 4 semi finalists in Divison 1, and Tipp and Clare in Div4 FoolsGold (Cavan) - Posts: 2763 - 12/04/2014 13:20:39 1574149 Link 0 |
S goldrick how do you feel about div 1 a group of 8 decided on semi finals? Tbh you sound concerned that Cavan will come up short in the div 3 decider in 2 weeks and and result it will affect Cavan's championship mindset? Gaa_lover (USA) - Posts: 3362 - 13/04/2014 09:24:23 1574351 Link 0 |
S goldrick what do you make of div 1 a group 8 that has to be decided with semi finals? You sound concerned Cavan will come up in the div 3 decider in two weeks and as result that defeat would effect the Cavan mindset for the championship. My team to start the League final. Hopefully Clarke and Argue will still be unavailable, BreffniGuide (Cavan) - Posts: 474 - 13/04/2014 11:15:24 1574367 Link 0 |

Breffniguide with the boys still in the under 21 hunt, id be off the same thinking with the starting 15. Terry is going to stick with a tried and tested 15. maybe swap Fergal Flanagan and Gunner at the start. Givney is a great target man up front and is good for at least 2 points on a poor day. cavan97 (Cavan) - Posts: 369 - 14/04/2014 11:48:55 1574835 Link 0 |
S Goldrick nonsense is having semi finals for a group 8. IMO the semi finals should be between the top two in each group. The objective of the league groups is gaining promotion or avoid relegation placings are not important if they were Derry for example wouldn't have made 14 changes in the group fixture against Mayo. The league final are to find out who are the best in each league. Cork topped div 1 the GAA world seen yesterday they were not deserving of that top place as Dublin are clearly better than them.
