The Cavan supporters dont write the odds, the bookies do. Anyway I suppose when you beat Derry,Tyrone and Monaghan and when you are going for your 4th title in-a-row it does influence the odds. Maybe we are entitled to hold our heads up a bit higher, because we certainly have had nothing to be proud of for a long , long time.

No problem with holding the head up high. Its talk of an all Ireland semi final & its location etc that prompted my comment, thats getting ahead of ourselves. This is a big game tonight lets hope its a good one. Best of luck to all

Talking about the location on here isn't going to affect the performance of the Csavan team or management - just discussion as the venues & dates were released on Monday

Best of luck to Cavan - hopefully 4in a row. Donegeal will want revenage and it wont be easy

Looking forward to a good game and hopefully we'll make it. That's a good quality Donegal team so it won't be easy.
Either way we owe a lot to these young lads of the last 4-5 years that gave us so much enjoyment and silverware. Surely
the golden generation of Cavan football. Come on the Blues!

Never mind talking about "4 in a row". That's just putting more pressure on the lads. Let them go out and play the game as if it was their 1st Final. Hopefully after the final whistle and a great win we can talk about "4 in a row". All the best lads, bring it home!

I agree, doubt they are reading Hoganstand a few hours before the game though.

You would hops so, haha. Leaving for Armagh myself in about half an hour or so, want to make sure I am there in time as traffic will no doubt be very busy. Looking forward to this one!

Incredible.

Massive well done to the players and management, could not make the game but it sure as hell sounded like one hell of a finish from us.

Thank you again lads.

Cannot wait to play the Dubs.

An Cabhán Abú!!!

Had to work last night so I couldn't be at the game.
Followed it on match tracker and northern sound.
We looked dead and buried but unlike other Cavan teams of old that saying doesn't register with these lads.
The never say die attitude is amazing and paid dividends.
Big blow losing Sankey before the start and Madden's injury coupled with Moynaghs black card didn't help matters but depth in quality on the bench showed itself.
4 in a row, who would have believed it.
Well done lads, were all very proud of you.

Great night for Cavan football in Armagh. We didn't give up even when it looked like we were beaten. Massive blow to lose our captain. Well done to all concerned.

Outstanding win, what a display of blood, guts and sheer will to win.Have we ever seen a Cavan team with such sheer passion and refusal to give in.This gives new meaning to the term snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. If Cavan in the past had teams with the mindset and togetherness of this team we would have won a lot more, just unbelievable stuff. At the beginning of the year even the optimistic harboured doubts about winning the 4 in a row with such a difficult draw, nobody can say that it wasn'nt done the hardest way possible.

Great fighting spirit from these Cavan lads last night. Never say die attitude is what won us this game. After losing our starting mid fielder and losing our captain so early, most teams would falter. There is a lot of leaders on this team. Must say Aaron O'Hara came on to replace Moynagh and fitted in superbly for a lad who hasn't had too much game time in the championship thus far. The defenders played very well in general. On a negative note the forward play was shambolic at times and we definitely are lacking a bit up front. No doubt the lads will up it against the dubs and management will sort out the problems. Unbelievable achievement, lets go win the all ireland now.
Future is blue and all that..

The best of luck against the Dubs-great achievement to win 4 in a row. Ye must be doing something pretty good with your underage system. Keep up the good work and I'm sure that if all concerned maintain the momentum going forward then senior success is not far away.

Still on a high this morning.
Hardly slept last night with excitement.

We have a few weeks to fix our scoring problems and we will have to use the time well.
Some forwards seemed to be afraid to shoot and seemed to lack confidence in that area.
No bother getting the ball but then hesitant and were often turned-over.
We need to work hard with our forwards in the time we have available now.

Onwards and upwards Cavan.
Proud of the lads and management.
