Age is only a number for former Tyrone star Peter Donnelly.
The two-time All-Ireland winner lined-out in goal for his native Coalisland last night as they saw off Clonoe to move into the quarter-finals of the Tyrone senior football championship.
It finished 2-14 to 1-14 in Edendork, where the 38-year-old was said to have another solid hour between the posts for the 2018 champions.
Currently serving as an Academy Athletic Development Coach with Ulster Rugby, Donnelly may be a loss to Tyrone’s backroom team but still remains a huge addition to his club as they seek out an 11th O’Neill Cup success this season.
