Rising Kerry dual star Luke Crowley will line out for the U20 footballers rather than the senior hurlers on Sunday.

Crowley has been faced with the difficult choice after Kerry’s All-Ireland U20FC final against Tyrone was fixed for Laois Hire O’Moore Park at 1pm, just another hour before the Kingdom’s senior hurlers face a season-defining Joe McDonagh Cup clash with Offaly up the road in Tullamore.

Crowley has featured prominently for both teams this season, but Kerry U20 football manager Tomás Ó Sé has confirmed that he will be putting the football final first this weekend as the Kingdom go in search of their first U20 / U21 title since 2008.
