The Ulster U20FC semi-final pairings have been confirmed following last night's two quarter-finals.

Derry will face Donegal in Ballybofey after accounting for Cavan 1-11 to 0-7, while Monaghan take on Tyrone in Healy Park after seeing off Armagh 1-15 to 0-13. Donegal and Tyrone qualified directly for the last-four as group winners, with the two semi-finals taking place next Wednesday evening.

Oisín Doherty scored 1-4 for Derry in their victory over Cavan at Owenbeg. The visitors led early on through points from Barry Donnelly and Cian Keaney, but Derry grabbed the next five and took a 0-8 to 0-4 lead into the break.

Doherty's goal in the 42nd minute came after Cavan had lost Favor Shehu to a black card, and the result was never in doubt after that as further Derry scores from Doherty, Ruairi Forbes and Conall Heron sealed the deal.

At the BOX-IT Athletic Grounds, an eight-point haul from Stephen Mooney helped Monaghan to overcome neighbours Armagh.

Bobby McCaul's 19th minute goal gave the Farneymen a 1-7 to 0-7 half-time lead after points from Ryan Duffy, Aaron O’Neill, Ruairi O’Brien ('45) and Fergal Boylan had given the hosts an early advantage.

Mooney, Dara McKenna and Oisín McGorman contributed second half points to ensure the visitors wouldn't be caught.
