Would be some laugh if they try it again against Mc Entees team"
They'd get a serious wake up if they try that against mcentee Meath.

Mayo likely to have players back ,and will bring the do or die attitude that kerry had yesterday.
Unlike yesterday its a must-win for them.
Different ball-game ."
My opinion, I won't tell you to stop with your posts, I appreciate the same in return. Thanks.

But sure mayo beat nobody to get to super 8s. Btw who is Galways next opponent??? :).

Bring it on. What a atmosphere in the old ground with a winner take all v Kerry, a fine fair well to the old surroundings. Meath need to take a very light week with training etc.
but I'm confident this young up and coming team can beat to old enemy. No love lost between either county and I think Meath will win by 4/5.
Hon the royal.

I think the game versus Mayo will really show where Meath are at. They were still in at with 55 mins gone in Donegal but you never sensed that they would kick on. Division one is also key next year and these games in the Super 8's will be good prep and will show the gap that needs to be closed.

We were there last year and this year was a dead rubber in many respects with lads leaving the panel etc.

Getting to the super 8's last year probably masked most of our inadequacies and we thought we were better and further down the line than we are. I suspect the same is true for Meath. Like us when it comes to dining at the top table we are probably 5 or 6 footballers short.

Your spouting gibberish ,,constantly failing to gauge any match that Meath have been involved in.
Posting history tell me you know jack about football , or you are refusing to believe that we are still not at the required level just yet..

To look down on Mayo as finished is pure delusional , and the only reason that we haven't lost Mayo since the 50s is because we haven't met them over the past 25 yrs because we stood still while
they put an infrastructure in place in 2008/2009 to remain competent at the very top.

Right now we have alot to prove and learn in the Super 8s ,and are still playing catch up both on and off the field
against the main contenders.
A bit of humility and common sense wouldn't go amiss.

Jesus Royal, some times I think you're a very clever troll undercover as a Meath fan! You provide some serious ammunition to the opposition lol.

I think Meath will win and put the final nails in Mayo's coffin, Mayo won't be putting it up to the Dubs this year.

Shush you can't say that, do you not know according to some so called Meath supporters we are not worthy of praise. Those are the same ones that sat at home yesterday on their asses while we traveled to ballybofey. Haven't spoken to one Meath man apart from on hoganstand you doesn't at least think it's 50/50 at worse

On what merits should it be 50/50 ? I think Meath can upset Mayo but then again our club u12s probably could. I think its probably more 70/30 in favour of Mayo. They are wounded and its do or die really. They have more to lose than Meath as ot could signal the break up of this side.

Beat Mayo and it will be a humdinger in Navan, particularly if your boys put one over them in Croker.

I'll repeat this is a forum of which is made up of differing opinions and views. I have mine and you have yours. I am not asking you to agree with mine. I certainly don't agree with yours.
So on that note I will say again, I have been on hoganstand since it started, I have always given my honest opinion, NO ONE will ever tell me not to post what I believe, I won't ask you to stop posting what you believe, again I will ask politely for you to show me the same courtesy. Thanks.

Mayo don't beat Meath. It's as simple as that. Like always, Mayo will find a way to lose to Meath, even if they are the better team.

This Meath team needs to get in front of a top team and for once to see it out if they are to really progress and grow in experience. Mayo are the perfect foil in that regard

Your a wannabe troll that prevents other good posters from contributing to the forum topic at hand.
instead choosing to drag the thread off topic with ridiculous facts about 1950s, as if it has any bearing on this upcoming match for goodness sake .
Only kid here is you pal.

Time for you to move aside and let some decent posters engage and debate on both teams merits .
Maybe you might learn something kid.
