At least Tyrone fans will be in Croke Park tomorrow. The new Super 8's format might see Kerry fans watching more all finals at home since Kerry won't be in as many finals. Just saying:)

Not the thinking of Tipperary people through the years in fairness. Who's your Premier league team? :)

Exactly.... Well said.

The days of Kerry winning a fake All Ireland title by only playing 3 games are long gone..!

Herbert Asquith the British prime Minister was quoted in 1914 as saying
"We sat this morning for an hour and a half discussing maps and figures and always getting back to that most damnable creation of the perverted ingenuity of man - the county of tyrone". Asquith would have gone down well in the bowels of rte, and do we care one jot...do we heck...to much of the country we are annoying and irritating mostly because we won't lie down and roll over...we don't know our place..and do we care?..not a bit!

Those years are gone with about 30/40 years Chiefe, what about the titles we won in 97 00 04 06 07 09 and 14?

Any problems with them?

Kerry won the 2000 All-Ireland championship. It was the last championship before the qualifiers came in in 2001. Kerry beat Armagh after extra time in a semi-final replay. Kerry beat Galway in the final after a replay. It was a fittingly tough way to win the final traditional knockout championship.

Mickey Harte is one of best gaelic football managers of his generation up there with Sean Boylan and Mick O Dwyer . Tyrone are well capable of winning this All Ireland

Best wishes to both teams and sets of supporters today. It is the pinnacle of our sport, so please god let it be a game that echos the occasion.
While I don't care who wins, a part of me would love to see the media etc go into meltdown if dubs lost (no offense) it is highly unlikely but sure it would be great craic . Good luck to all.

Here we go.

it's all ireland final match day.

butterflies are absolutely crippling me. Doesn't matter how many finals you go to, these occasions always make you as excited at the 4th final in a row as it does for the first.

time to park the pre match talk now on here. Hope everyone enjoys the day. That's the most important thing. we love to have a bitch and a moan day in day out in true irish fashion about the ills of the game but the fact 82'300 people can come together on a small island to watch two teams play in an amateur game is astonishing. it'll probably be the biggest sporting event attended in the world this weekend. astonishing really.

To every single one of you going, wish you all a safe journey. If Tyrone win, we can't complain, we've had a great run at it. If we win, drink it in because 4 in a row won't be done again in my lifetime (I'm 26 now) and despite the narrative people on here try to spin, dublin won't be around forever, we are beatable like every great team, and at some point appearing in finals and days like these will become less common so don't take them for granted. irrespective of the result today there is no doubt we have had a blast. Would be amazing to go.out on another high and end the year as champions.

these occasions are special though so I wish both teams luck and may the best team win. To the fans of both teams there today, remember, there are fans of 30 other counties who would kill to be our shoes walking into croker today.

Didn't sleep much as expected and Christ but this really is a labor of love. Delighted to be in the final again but edgy as f**k.
Anyway, to all those traveling , safe journey and enjoy the occasion as it's what every GAA fan dreams of and we have been blessed in recent years with the players representing Dublin. Hoping for the best and will not enjoy one bloody minute of it I'd imagine in the best possible way.
COYBIB.

You must be a bitter little person-quacking away. Best of luck to both teams and just hope it is a great occasion for everyone. Its good to see that MH has stood with his principles and not bowed to the media hacks with agendas.

Game day. Don't see the one sided affair some are expecting. Micky Harte will have a plan and I expect Tyrone to execute said plan well.

Dublin will be beaten eventually and if today is the day then so be it.

I hope everyone, no matter the result, has a great day.
