All Ireland Final 18 - Dublin V Tyrone

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Tyrone fully deserve to be in the final. They'll be in the firing line tomorrow however. Dublin's victory will be as impressive as Kilkenny's in '08.

Home advantage is worth 5 points.

Would you have this same fixation with the Dubs if Kerry were challenging consistently for the All Ireland.????
I think not...

Your posts amuse so many of us Dubs, keep up the great originality. Brings a smile to us all. Your desperation is so evident, and great to see from a Kerry man.

Kerry minors in another All Ireland Final tomorrow yet all you post about is Dubln.
The mind boggles...! ;0)

You are amused by fair and balanced comments?

If Mayo had been given a replay in Castlebar...

The closer it gets to throw in the more confident I'm getting of an ambush. Tyrone by 2, get Sam up over the border again before Teresa shuts the gates!

Some Tyrone supporters will be leaving Croke Park at half-time tomorrow. It's just the unfortunate nature of this event. A hurling county suffered that in the '08 final.

They'd still have lost. Castlebar hinders Mayo. They perform. better in Croke Park. You're rolling out every excuse under the sun as to why Dublin are better than Kerry when the reality is they have better footballers than Kerry. Imagine that. Mayo are the only team that have footballers as good as the Dublin footballers. Followed by Tyrone then Monaghan. Kerry a solid 5th though.

What's their record like in Castlebar against this Dublin team anyway?

My prediction for Sunday is that Joe Brolly will devote more time before the game to Jim McGuinness who hasn't coached a county team in 4 years than to any of the opposing counties or coaches. The main points of his newspaper column will be rehashed irrespective of what topic or situation in being discussed in the studio - so predictable.

I think you are doing the Lillies a dis-service though.

Ah lads, the legend is a wind up merchant and in fairness he gets a few bites. But talk is cheap, at the final whistle I'll either be heartbroken, over the moon or looking forward to a replay, so all the bs counts for nothing at the end of the day.

I can't see Tyrone getting closer than 7 points tomorrow. Even if Tyrone play well I think Dublin will empty their bench and put up a big score in last 15/ 20 mins. If Tyrone don't play well Dublin will coast in third gear to a handy win or will go for the jugular and do what Kilkenny did to Limerick/ Waterford in hurling finals in 2007/ 2008.

I'll be congratulating the winning team at the end of the day and may they deservely winter well! ;-)
