Replying To maroondiesel:  "I think the Dubs won all their finals in recent years by a point? what a fantastic achievement, it would be nice if they can organise another one of those cliffhangers.Up the Red Hand, but expect the Dubs to keep on going and even win with a bit to spare."
A previous poster is right, Dublin will win by 8+ points. While Dublin will deservedly winter well, discussions will have to start on Dublin assuming their rightful place in the Railway Cup and the composition of the 4 quadrants.

Have you not got the message yet with the lack of bites , your country cousins arent even helping you out on this one does that not tell you something, in a weird way your perseverance with the one joke is admirable

A player I loved but not happy with right now C Redmond, while I get his opinion and may actually agree with it privately, don't think he should be questioning Dermo at this time and him not being part of the set up , as K Barr said back in the day you could have a kebab, let your hair down and no one blinked , Dermo has been under the micro scope for donkeys , and the moment he walked as an amateur sportsman he should be left alone, hope Dermo is well enjoying his time in the states and finds a quiet corner to watch the Dubs write a bit of history

I agree Damo, Charlie has too much to say most of the time. I think he was at it leading up to the final in '92 if I remember.
That said, a great player.

Charlie redmond.

His points on Connolly - wrong

His point about ncguinness is so far wide of the mark it's actually embarrassing

It still absolutely blows my mind that people expect managers and squads to move on and live in the past century.

Jim mcguinness was brilliant for football. He made a Donegal team that could never compete, all Ireland champions.

Ruining the game ?give it over will ya

Replying To mayotyroneman:  "it's quite remarkable that a county like tyrone is able to put together a squad who are able to compete for major honours...up until 1984, tyrone were not even a force in ulster never mind ireland but since then we have completely punched above our wait...the county has a population of 127,000 of which 40% are our protestant brethern who as we know don't engage culturally in the sport...the small playing pool is demonstrated in the fact that 6 sets of brothers are in the squad for sunday...in many ways tyrone are not on anywhere near a level playing field with the dubs, but we are there on merit, and it really is a testament to the great gaels in the county who have worked tirelessly over the last 50 years to get us to where we are at now..incredible stuff really"
Google tells me that the population of Tyrone is closer to 178,000 but look who cares. Kerry and Mayo have smaller populations. You do realise that you can only put 15 men on the pitch? Croatia have a smaller population than Ireland but reached a WC final. It's mad what culture and application can do isn't it? It's like claiming that Bejing should have a better soccer team than Bohemians because population is everything. That myth was busted years ago. Tyrone are there because they've applied themsekves well, have a decent manager and got a relatively safe passage to the final. Please nobody try to convince me that Monaghan are decent. It's 15 v 15. Disregard the pooulation argument. It's old, tired and unproven. Best of luck on Sunday.

Have to laugh at Jonny Cooper saying he doesn't get involved in sledging. I watched last year in semi when a Tyrone forward was left on his own and he was in his face mouthing off - come on Jonny we have your number!!!

I remember a nice steady stream leaving nice and early ;)

Nah only messing.. sure what's getting beaten 3 times in a championship season matter anyway!

Twice is already bad enough.. even after fiddling with your pitch.. why not 3 wha!

;)"
still no sign of that dublin team being announced yet....whats wrong boys?

Alot of anti final propaganda pushed around by the usual suspects. If it was Kerry v Dublin it would be hyped up to no end. What is Colm Orourkes problem with Tyrone......his anti tyrone sentiments are tiresome. Hes now running down the final and no doubt will run down our team on live TV when he gets a chance. Is this all a personal issue or is it RTE driven. Its getting old and tiring and although M. Lester is gone we could do with a shake up in the punditry as well.

Rumors abound that the delay is down to a certain St Vincent's man and a possible late appearance on the bench. Would be surprised myself. ;)

Klkenny is named at 14 for Dublin. Must have been Mickey spoofing again. Maybe Sky told him that!!
