Laois and Carlow ended up a dogfight with the O'Moores lucky to get a win . Surely Carlows sick blanket and park the bus style of defence won't work in croker park. Great result for Offaly yesterday - our first win of any kind over Westmeath since 2006 I believe. It would've been a big setback if we were relegated. I thought the point dropped to Sligo last weekend was going to come back to haunt us but fair play to the lads they pulled it out of the fire. (goal not included.) I wasn't at the Carlow/Laois game last Saturday but the reports say it was a dour game played with 14 men behind the ball, final score 1-06 to 0-09. Brendan Murphy poor play so greedy you square the ball to ten it's a tap in with the palm instead he goes glory hunting didn't think he was that type of player.
