Would give mc Entee another start against Down. Our 3 full forwards were substituted against Derry ,and correct decision IMO. Would give Lenihan another shot,as he can help with frees. Would give Flanagan a start at full forward because of his fielding ability, and in the hope that it may help with his fitness after major injury. We know when fit he is a midfielder, but worth a run at 14. Andy will judge that one. Long term Newman is more likely to get jersey, but a good performance from ANYONE could change that. I expect to see the 2 lads left in midfield. Reilly to replace Cian o Brien.
Down match may give some fringe players the opportunity to prove their worth, but best foot forward ,and nothing taken for granted. Derry were weak.

Lenihan can help with frees?? Were you in navan yesterday he had 3 inside the 45 and kicked every one wide he kicked 2 wide in first half aswell that's 5 points in the first half alone he missed and your saying he can help out with frees. Can't read anything in the Derry game in my opinion missing county champions club players that would be like if back in the 2010 2011 when navan were winning county titles if they had gotten to all Ireland semi final say we would have had to play without the likes of Stephen bray we wouldn't have done it I would just forget about Derry game and judge Meath on down performance

He was flawless bar 1 free against Kildare, he had a really bad game yesterday but its defintley not time to give up on lenihan, was probably our best forward in the O'Byrne cup and bar biggy our best against Kildare, until Newman is back he should still be our right footed free taker and James toher our left footed free taker

The Down and Fermanagh games are now the two most important (must-win) matches in the group for us. Win those and we are safe. Any other wins against Galway and/or Cork would put us in contention for much more.

Same team should start again against Down, give a bit of stability. If St Colmcilles win (which we all hope the do) then Biggy will defiantly need a bit of a beak as I am sure there will be some celebrating. I think there is an element of give the ball to Graham with the Meath forwards. So another game without him could encourage the players to develop in themselves. I know Lenihan had a bit of a mare yesterday but he is a good player, has potential just needs a bit of time, its more than possible that he could be man of the match the next day.

I would agree..win those two games and we may well be safe from the drop to Division 3.

At the minute it's very hard to say who will get promoted to Division 1 or getting relegated to Division 3 !

Anything can happen and surely to god it will !

Meath without biggy, d Tobin, harnan, Newman and James mcentee too, 5 starters IMO, ur right not to judge Meath on yesterday but we were by no means full strength

Would agree with that. Also I don't rate this cork team that highly and think a win is more probable against them than Galway. But main focus is Down. I think we wli be safe but can't take anything for granted. Said at start I wanted promotion and I will keep that until we can't achieve it.

Is that cian or bobby O'Brien at 10? Presume its cian, Strong forward line, I'd go the same except switch Newman to 14 and play McMahon at 13

I see your point! Don't get me wrong I rate McMahon very highly but feel he may be swallowed up against the top sides ! He has been there for the last 3 years and I think we should try a few other options at the min!
