Passion, fire in the belly, real ball winners p Bryne farrell sheridan though they had there faults they were gotten rid of on the week of the allireland when nobody would b that interested.no real chance for redemption no football that time year unless in club champship.jim mcguiness came in he said this my way or highway give them the option we went with youth ok but keep some experience this word I'm hearing as excuse for 3 years now. We got rid of our experience look any team that seems to lose its way in second half of games and does nothing about it where is the blame here management in my book. Players yes have to take responsibility but if your playing with fear highlight our weaknesses not our strengths then this will seep into players mental confidence.picking out periods in games from management to the media is a no no in my book. Keep that for your team meetings but these I hear have mediators and all sorts of rules honesty is what's needed at those.intensity at our training sessions is laughable I've seen them up close no contact at all.it shows in our games not acceptable now or goin forward will we beat Derry hope so will try b there support need more now then ever.

dunboynelad- I think you are slightly obsessed with the physical aspect (like a few others)- never seen it winning much. I was at both county finals in 2015 and in both instances the more physical team lost. About the defence setup- who was supposed to be marking Connolly?- probably the most physical player we have.

The point is that you need a balance. You could have a really skillful player who cannot win his own.On the otherhand you don't want athletes who cannot kick a ball.

Game not being televised next weekend either.
Any idea why it needs to be played so early so?
It's making it very very difficult for travelling support. 5 or 6 would have been a much better time.

What dictates the times for these games?
I thought it used to always be 7 except if there was an exceptional journey for knew team, in which case it was 5.
Even 4 might have been a little more manageable for people.

Its all to do with 3 games in the province of ulster and rubbish about ticket machines and stewarding. Seems strange as very few will attend but that is what I am told. I am happy enough as I don't work Saturdays and will get back at a decent time for me usual Saturday night disco.. Wo ho

Do you play the game? What you're saying is just wrong so there's no point arguing it. When you're confused why Sean Tobin can't keep up with James Mccarthy or why Joey Wallace is being eaten up by Philly McMahon next year I'll explain it to you. As for NOM and Na Fianna? No idea what you mean there, NOM were better in all aspects, that's why they won.

Ziggy- quote: 'On the other hand you don't want athletes who cannot kick a ball'. I'm posting about our inter county footballers- Are you confusing inter county football with the Olympics which cater for athletics!

Why is that? Don't see the problem myself, 15 on 15 and game time for everyone. In Skryne as well so no travelling for us. Ashbourne aren't you ziggy? I was up your way yesterday and someone there told me shortly after one of my own club men scored 2-8, will be interesting to see next week's team...

Yes that's all he took out of it really, not an awful lot to report, think everyone got a run out, they are what they are these behind closed doors games. A chance to get the Dublin game out of the system and competitive enough you'd imagine with Longford in the same boat. Considering we hammered Donegal up there I wouldn't pay much attention to results as such.

Of course, but Lenihan is a better scorer than most of our forwards. I would start him to be honest. You didn't hear a score overall no?
