you certainly don't want a long trip up to derry 6 days after losing to Louth....Don't worry though, you wont lose to Louth

Tough draw for either of us which only increases the importance of this game. Ridiculous that there's only a 6 day turnaround

Don't know why people are concerned with a 6 day turn around. Dual Clubs can have 3 games a week. These guys should be a hell of a lot fitter than the ordinary club man as they are the pick of the crop and have been training for the last 6-7 months for this. If they cant prepare themselves and be 100% ready to go, bar a serious injury, they may as well not tog out for the Louth game.

Who made this stupid decision?? In the draw 1B the teams play at the end of June.Surely Louth/Meath should be in that draw?

hopefully common sense will prevail when times and venues are confirmed later today and match will be pushed back to following week

From what I'm hearing McGill is out, although I will stand corrected if wrong, I worry about full back if that's the case

9.Douglas

13.Wallace
14.Newman
15.McMahon

Pretty much the same team but Alan Douglas in for Smyth & leave Biggy in the half forwards. Will be interesting to see how they go after their week training in Portugal.

Its not the team I would pick as such, but the team I think will line-out.If McGill can't play then MOD will pick Keoghan at full back.

Saturday 18 June

Derry v loser of Meath v Louth, Owenbeg, 5pm

A joke on both counties no matter who it is who ends up having to go to Derry

Well this game has just taken on a bit more meaning (as if it didn't already have it for Meath & Louth supporters), Derry doesn't exactly send shivers down my spine because for whatever reason they seem to be a far better League team than championship team. But still, there's easier games out there than an away trip to Derry a mere 6 days after losing a provincial game.

Ps, thanks you to the Gaa for getting rid of the 6 day turnaround, they're such a caring and organised association, which treasures all it's members equally.

Very poor form for either Louth or Meath to have to go to Derry 6days layer. Another disgrace on gaa. At this stage I feel like giving up.
But what has either CBs done and I am asking wee posters too, not only Meath ones, both cb should have got together and no sorry neither of us is doing this, long before opposition was known.

What's up with Cian O'Brien ? A Tormey ? I am not sure about Brian Power I was very shaky in the league . I start Mc Hugh in goals.
