If these rumours about O'Coileain are true then it is a big loss to the panel - I have watched him play for St Pats, both minor and U21 for Meath and for O'Mahonys and think he is the closest to a centre forward playmaker that we have seen since Giles, he has good vision and works hard. I was impressed with him in his brief appearances in the League and cannot understand why he didn't get more playing time. If this is another player unhappy with the treatment he has received then we have way too many players absenting themselves from the panel that we simply cannot afford and serious serious questions have to be asked to the management team, its not like we have a large and strong panel that we can easily absorb these defections.

Menton and Curran from Don/Ash that absented themselves in recent years..

Meath go to Portugal at the end of this month.

We travel to Donegal for a challenge next week.

Depressing if that's true, about O'Coilean I only seen 15 minutes of him against Tyrone and he really impressed me. He looked a big guy with pace to burn.

Meathmaster is right,he has left the panel,the only player from O'Mahonys on the Meath panel is now Darragh Smyth..

I guess this is another player(O'Colleainn) who won't play while MOD is here...
