Just wondering why more clubs are not out again this weekend. Clubs like trim last year had to play 5 games in a week towards the ends of the hurling and football championships.. Football fixtures should be ran off at every opportunity before the meath teams get their short championships started so there is not a backlog of games to be forced through at the end of the year??? It's a joke that the Meath county board have put the next 2 rounds of championship in the middle of college exams do other people think this is totally unfair on students ?? meathman20 (Meath) - Posts: 83 - 25/04/2016 12:14:44 1849059 Link 0 |
Couldn't agree more...Most students have exams on Saturdays as well which could clash or cause trouble! Meathmaster (Meath) - Posts: 251 - 25/04/2016 13:02:55 1849106 Link 0 |
Ya it's a joke they have enough to worry about than having to balance the both when it could be make or break in championship if lost first game and make or break for them in college too typical county board meathman20 (Meath) - Posts: 83 - 25/04/2016 16:36:36 1849327 Link 0 |
As I said a week or so back a second round of games for most clubs could have been ran last weekend but sure the fixtures committee are very in touch with the real world and know that they have an entire year to run off the football at a nice steady pace. Some games postponed due to Meaths involvement in the Christy Ring. So don't make predictions for the following.. ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 06/05/2016 21:49:47 1852676 Link 2 |
