Replying To VernonSmith:  "Ashbourne need a manager - Kelly gone. A McHale chap who played with Dunshaughlin's 3 in a row team is speaking with them."
Who told ya this?

A source in Ashbourne. Kelly has a new coaching role in Leinster and doesn't know if he can commit 100% to Ashbourne. McHale coming in to work alongside and possibly to take over. McHale acted as video analyst for them last year

Massive coup for Kilmainham to get in a manager of the calibre of Gary Farrelly. Worked wonders in Dunshaughlin and was a bad refereeing decision away from winning a Keegan Cup. Also brought through the like of Conor Devereux and Fearghal Delaney

Slight difference in what Dunshaughlin would have had available and Kilmainham, silk purse , sows ear and all that

Not so sure. Ashbourne have been the most consistent team all year for me. Colmcilles still have a relegation play off to come...

Ah no, has to be the Cilles (however I am biased). Everyone had them relegated from the league before a ball was thrown in yet Skryne and Duleek were automatically relegated. I think the lads have also reached finals at all age groups this year winning u12,13, 16 and minor. As a poster said earlier I don't think Ladies are taken into account but they won the Junior Championship there as well. I would imagine anyway that nobody around the Coast will mind too much whether they are club of the year or not. Well worth the trip home last weekend

thank god Geraghty is gone. Absolutely no doubting his playing carear but his mgm leave a lot to be desired. They have a lad in house that would do a great job if he was offered. He managed St Vinencts to the junior B.

Did a fantastic job in castldaly, also went to dullek and kept them competitive last year, the talent just isnt there, everyone's fav for relegation kept them up. Best move for him is too move on, dulleek unfortunately are going nowhere.

That's just it, no one is a messiah, not even GG. I think dulerk will find it hard not to slip to inter next year

I would say it depends on how the county board convention goes. He is nominated for the chairmans job. If he gets that, (which is unlikely), then I couldn't see him having the time to manage a club as well.

I'd reckon Eamon Barry , will stay at home this year , Walterstown were within a hairs breath of beating St Colmcilles this year in the Semi Finals ,missed loads of opportunities in the second half of that game . if Walsh and Co commit they will be one of the Favourites for the 2017 Intermediate . Though I haven't heard anything . Winning the Intermediate in his first year would have been nice though I doubt if he is that pretentious that he would have agreed it as an objective .
If he's at the helm , it may be his 2/3rd year objective
