I'm not a cilles man. Although it's quite creepy that you asking people about me. That's called stalking my friend. I have never said I was a cilles man.

Like the look of that team. Have 2 mcentee to come on biggie, Curran etc. my only worry is O'Sullivan, he gives the ball away too cheaply too often. Can't do that against donegal.

There's one!!!

I suspect many posts are just to stir things up! I also think some posters are working in tandem with others to reel peopl in!! Cillian O'Sullivan is a good player as is Ben Brennan on his day! Both have had good days and both have had less than good days! But they both show up - they both are fully committed and as a fan o owe them a thanks for that!
Finally, I don't know Andy McEntee but I bet there has never been a time when he picked a team where he didn't pick the players he felt were best for the job!

Royaldunne is at that crack the whole time lately , give your honest amd realistic opinion on here and he slates ya....... unless it's 100% praise, even blind optimism, your castigated, and told your not welcome at a meath match. Sure I'd say we'll beat Donegal by 15 points Sunday RD, if we all stay possitive on here, no matter what the facts of the matter are.....Jesus wept

Totally agree that Andy picks the team he believes will win. Never said otherwise

Not slating the young lad but if you were part of the panel and done all the training etc. b hard to keep motivated for the games when you know you not even get s Jersey.
He's one for the future but I think there's s few of the jnrs that are equal to it.

As for people with multiple accounts, I have only ever had the one. As can be verified by admin (although this thread has disappointingly been turned into a trolling session on myself) I don't care as it is at most 2 posters with multiple usernames, (the hilarious red thumbs give it away).
I will make one thing clear though I think Cillian O'Sullivan is a fantastic player, yes he can run up blind allies sometimes, and can cough up ball, my point was against donegal I hope he doesn't do that. But the mans class is unmatched on his day. So hopefully that puts the lie to bed that I slated the man, the 36 panel members have to be given huge respect and don't need the abuse they get off some so called fans.
Now hopefully that lays my position clear. I will not respond to any more wum posts on this thread, the biggest game awaits us in 9 years. That should be the discussion. Now I hope this gets at least 9 red thumbs. :)

Think some people on here, 1 in particular confuse voicing an opinion/ offering critical analysis of something with abuse. It is perfectly ok and indeed correct to say that X or Y did not have a great game and that Z would be a better option the next day. It is okay to have the view that someone does not have the required quality to play inter county football while at the same time acknowledging the huge work and dedication that is involved in committing to a panel.

What is absolutely not ok and I have seen it creep in to the crowd is the roaring personal abuse at players. on the field or on here. "Take him effin off, he is a useless coconut" etc. and some of the stuff online is horrific all together.

Like this posted on Facebook after the Dublin game " An absolute disgrace, not one of the players or management should ever get a Meath jersey again, nothing but a bunch of cowards"

We have to remember on here that these lads are amongst us, their families are sitting beside us in the stands at the games, can people not think how they would feel if that was there brother or son on the field and they had to listen to some of the stuff that is said.

I believe Meath have every chance of upsetting what are ridiculous odds against Donegal, last weeks game will stand to them and give them confidence , where as no competitive game in a couple of weeks might not play in Donegals favour , need a fast start and be right there with ten to go , think the lads will play with a bit more freedom now they are where they set out to be .tough no doubt but far from impossible . GO ON MEATH .

Emergency measures were needed to improve our forward options after Leinster championship displays. With the exception of Ruari O'Caolain and Jason Skully, wouldn't see any other junior players improving our options in forwards. Shane Walsh has proved to be exceptional at underage and with Na Fianna. He can play in full forward line and is exactly what we need.

Of men (particularly) now if that's ur thing I'm cool with that, it's 2019. Now I'm not gonna need a restraining order am I. Wow btw. My home area is the far side of county. Go on work it out.

Replying To royaldunne:  "And a dub.
I'm a Meath supporter, (hardly expect you to understand) but he could walk on water and to me he is still a dub, and not worthy of talking about. I'd prefer to praise Donal Keoghan, Pauric harnan , Brian menton, micky Newman, james Conlon, Mickey burke (a man you slated many times on here) men both young and old who give their all for their county from October/November for no financial rewards, no 6k per appearance, no ,for the love of Meath, and then to get slated by some of their own? While the praise others with every resource under the sun. Fans like you this Meath team can do without, join the many dubs in aig tops if that's what you want. However I will wear the green and gold till I die and proudly say they are as good as any other county. REAL SUPPORTER
HON THE ROYAL."
Wouldn't usually interact with people like you, but I did have to laugh at this one.

Was Mick O'Dowd the only exception to your praise of all things Meath? Did he not give his all? Or maybe didn't do it for the love of Meath?

Think that guy on the main page before the leinster final who described you as being like Donald Trump was scarily accurate. If you imagine Trump reading out the stuff you throw up here it seems like a perfect fit.

Well that was my point, if I didn't clarify it then I apologize. I did say social media. I presume you seen the post about Ben Brennan, absolutely disgraceful. To say the least.

A another log in and out. Never personally criticized mod. A lovely fella , who was is not and never will be a inter county manager, and the people I blame were those who put him in there.
