I think Andy will go with simple logic He will start the best 15 players available to him. He is not a fool. In an ideal world if all 15 play to full potential, and remain fit there will be no need for any subs. The tactical thing is often overplayed , but certainly applies with Dublin where they have 5 players on the bench who have proven they are as good as any player on the team. However, with us if some player is unable to continue or not delivering he will use a substitute. Therefore by definition a sub is a replacement in response to a need where the first choice is replaced. I refuse to believe Andy will complicate matters by deviating from logic. Of course if any sub can produce a winning score great..... then that player will be the best player in Ireland....for now! Dont know how he will deal with Kildares strenght at midfield though. Perhaps in that case he may see some selected player playing the role of picking up loose ball like Seamus Kenny did so well.in the past.

I'm currently living abroad and get all the games on LMFM online with Brendan & Mattie but was wondering do any of the betting sites or any other forums show the games live by any chance? The highlight footage is there when you see TG4's review show on a Monday night but would be great to see it live as well.

Can't wait for this. Any weekend the royals are involved in a big game is a good one! With the bad weather expected I'll be back selling Bushmills in my usual spot

Cheers Bob, yeah it's just the Meath ones, I was talking to them in the Meath TV app and they were saying the TV companies wont release footage due to viewing rights which to me is madness considering they only use them for highlights and I'd happily pay per view for each game, it's great for O'Byrne cup & club championship. I'm sickened to be missing these games I used to get to all of them and only lived up the road from Pairc Tailteann. But look the result is the main thing and I'm lighting candles to beat the band here to get the win over Kildare!!

Very honest and quite fascinating interview from Cillian O'Sullivan in the Irish Times. A very fresh outlook on everything.

Ive been keeping quiet about this one, trying to see what the teamsheet/conditions might show today. Already this is our best season since 2014 by victories, and our best start in the league in maybe 10 years. I think the attitude and atmosphere around the county is more optimistic and rightly so. However I am also seeing the old naivety setting in amongst our supporters, which is dissapointing. This whole thing could go up in fire and smoke yet. The last time we played Kildare in the league they mauled us; they scored a goal after 20/30 seconds and had the match won in 10 minutes. They looked miles ahead of us. Men against boys. I was mortified leaving Navan. The championship game in the same year they similaraly outclassed us and more dissapointingly unmuscled us, so this game is a good barometer of our progress and if it is genuinely concrete progress at that. For the last 5/6 years Kildare have definitely been ahead of Meath in Leinster, and Meath have the opportunity to challenge that position tomorrow. I honestly cant call this match simply because Im so unsure of what Meath will show up and if the gameplan will be effective against a team that gave us two wallopings two seasons ago. I still think that our Meath team can be damaged and will struggle under mental pressure in the heat of a tight game. Kildare teams and supporters; whether good or not, are always full of chit chat and niggle. Theres also still a dozen questions around our set-up. Its a really tough one, but if we win this one maybe its time to jump on the hype train because what a start to the year itll be.

I said that earlier in year on main forum. However someone said Munnelly of Laois, tbh I took their word for it and didn't check it out. But by me reckoning Reilly is one of a very rare breed.

What exact changes in personnel do you expect to be made Royaldunne?

I expect to see Kane Reilly dardis all come on at some stage and maybe 1 or 2 changes before game, I don't know if either O'Sullivan or particularly Brennan will last the full 70.

Heading up to Navan shortly should be a cracker despite the rain. Obviously a win today would be ideal but a loss and were still in an ok position for the last 2 games. Kildare will be very tough oppostion but i think we can take them .

All the best to our lads today, be great to get a result, Kildare will provide a stiff challenge as always and we'll have to fight like dogs to beat them.
