Replying To Jinxie:  "I think your very close but I reckon we might see Jones partnering menton in the middle.
The rest looks fairly decent.
If there was to be Obe more addition I'd say it'd be o'cuillean but I'm not sure for who."
possibly for wallace, wouldn't be sure that newman will start either.

So would I :)

Yeah and play behind midfield. He's a great heads up player. A rare thing with modern county footballers. He's looking to pick a pass or move forward, in the was osullivan does. Not like many footballers nowadays who seem to be pre-programmed to hand pass laterally and keep possession at all costs.

I honestly can't see any changes in the forward line (unless Andy has seen something in training). Bar maybe McEntee for Tobin (with Biggy wearing 14) but even though he didn't score much against Clare, I thought Tobin did a massive amount of work to bring other players into the game.
We scored 6-34 in the last two league games so obviously something is going right up front.
I, for one, wasn't massively impressed with O'Coillean in the league. I don't think Newman has enough matches behind him to come straight in from the start.

Mcmahon Lenihan biggy COS Wallace all def start cause they are very very quick and mcentees plan is very counterattack orientated......I think mcentee will be a wing back cause it's our poorest line and it needs strengthening.....he can score from there anyway. Harnan prob the other wing. Menton Jones in the middle. So above u have 7 very strong ball carriers to transition from defence to attack and 2 quick inside men to hopefully get on the end of things.

People quick to take toher out of the team for Jones, think we forget how valuable toher's left foot free taking is

Don't know how valuable Toher's free taking is when he misses as many as he makes

Would agree with that. I would put in O'c instead of Wallace. Wallace good option of bench.

Yeah I thought both wallaces had their best showings in the league from the bench. A guy after playing 40-45 mins of tough championship football at a high intensity wouldn't want to see either of those lads coming in to him for the rest of the game.

I taught Joey was hard done in the league I think he warranted more game time.

Yep 2 very fast players to come on against a tiring player. Always a good option.

Agree with this also...e Wallace running at a tiring defence could reap rewards

Re. Joey...pity we didn't see more of him during the league. Reminds me a bit of Ollie murphy

Would like to see E Wallace starting, though he did well when he dropped back behind midfield and acted as playmaker.
Joey has some way to go before he could be compared to O Murphy- one of the best corner forwards to play the game in any county.

Ah yeah...Joey has some way to go to get near Olly. Who could forget 2001?

Joey has a that bit of skill and jinksy side to his game like Olly. That's where I see the similarities...

I think jones will start midfield alongside menton.dont know if newman will be ok to play.its going to be close.not going to be easy.louth are playing well

Jones should start all day long. There is not enough from Toher and ultimately Jones is a better player. We have to start dominating mid-field and of Jones and Menton work we will be flying. Looking forward to the game, we should be able to control it and above all i would like to see us more clinical on front of goal. We have serious fire power and every forward that start will be looking over their shoulder as we have 9/10 forwards that could probably start. Also i would love to see Mc Gill cementing his pace at FB, he has all the attributes and to progress as a team we need a solid spine to the team.

Looking forward to this one, although unfortunately I'm unlikely to make the game, but it will be very interesting to see how we get in under McEntee.

Louth have already beaten us this year and have gained promotion so they I don't really buy us being the heavy favourites the bookies have made us. If we perform to our ability then we will win, however if we perform like we did against Kildare or Down earlier in the year, then you know the rest yourself.
