The Late Late Show on RTE1 are looking to recognise a deserving individual or group ahead of their Gaelic Games special on 5 April.

Producers from the show have been in contact with county boards and clubs as they look to find unsung heroes and the GAA’s most dedicated fans.

In communications with clubs, the Late Late Show said: “The Late Late Show is celebrating Gaelic Games with a special edition of the show next Friday 5th April and we would love to hear from you!

“Patrick Kielty will have a number of guests in studio to celebrate everything Gaelic Games, but we would also like to recognise a very deserving individual or group who have gone above and beyond in the service of the community with a special Late Late Show Award.

“Do you know a group or individual who deserves to be recognised for their dedication to sport and their community? Who are the unsung heroes of your local GAA Clubs who deserve to be thanked for all that they do? Maybe one club has gone above and beyond to support someone in their community? Do you know the world's biggest and most dedicated GAA fan? Who do you think deserves to be celebrated on the Late Late? We’d love to hear all stories.

“If you have any stories that you think we should hear, please get in touch and they could be in with a chance of receiving tickets to The Late Late Show GAA Special and a very special Late Late award!

“Please send us your stories via email with a contact name and number by 1PM on Tuesday 2nd April, in order to considered and please feel free to share this email with anyone you think may be interested.
