A round-up of the best of the social media reaction to events on and off the field these past number of days...
I've seen it happen often in club games. But couldn't believe in a game of that magnitude that nothing happened to stop extra balls being thrown on the field during almost every Kerry kickout. Frustrated & slowed them while allowing Monaghan to set up as they wished.

Tough that Kildare are out of the Championship with a game to spare but huge credit has to go to the players for turning their season around after the Carlow game. They showed they have the ability to compete at the highest level and they have put pride back in the jersey.

Will Joe shut up lobbying about the tier championship and analyse the game.

Analysis of Kerry goal concession very poor .. RB's general play VG but from a GK Perspective his positioning and effort to save Kerry Goal showed complete lack of GK Ing ability .. angles/dive/ positioning #SundayGame #MONvKER
- Shane Curran (@shanetcurran) July 22, 2018
Joe McQuillan sees more as a linesman as he does as a referee, pity he doesn't do the same when he's the main man refereeing the game

Just lump her into the edge of the square, maybe the traditionalists are right. #MonaghanvKerry

Papering over cracks a little for Kerry. Individual efforts pulling them out of the fire. Some game !

Conceding frees to Monaghan are guaranteed points although some of them probably shouldn't be given. #MonaghanvKerry

1/2 The GPA calls on the GAA to make Páirc Uí Chaoimh available for the Liam Miller charity game. The contribution by the GAA & its members to the social fabric of this nation is second to none&we are proud of the part our players past, present and future have and will play in this
- GPA (@gaelicplayers) July 21, 2018
2/2 However we feel that the decision being taken here doesn't align with our values as sportspeople and needs to be revisited
