Derry manager Damian McErlain explains that the familiarity between his charges and tomorrow's NFL 3 opponents Fermanagh will make for a huge battle between the sides at Brewster Park.

The Erne County bring an unbeaten record to the home clash against a Derry side that have had mixed fortunes in the league so far.

And the Derry manager acknowledges that his side will face a tough encounter against one of the form teams in the division.

"Every week has been busy but Fermanagh are going well with three wins in a row," McErlain told the Derry Journal. "They are well organised under Rory and they will know us well. They know our players and, likewise, we know theirs.

"It will be a real battle in Brewster Park. It is a long pitch, quite narrow which keeps things tight. It will be a real challenge but we can look forward now a bit more with two points on the board last week."
