Ramor are going to be there for the next 10 years. So much under age talent coming through while Crosserlough will be very strong soon.

Ramor /gaels semi or final would be a nice draw.

It's hard to look by the Gaels for senior but surely lacken have to come good at some stage, intermediate is very hard to call but the bridge seem to be doing well all be it in junior, the junior one is very tough, Ballymachugh are surely favourites along with kildallon and drung but knockbride had a good win tonight over kildallon so it's very tough to call

Drumalee & Ballymachugh have to be favourites for the Junior Championship surely? Play eachother in the first round aswell, should be intresting.

Yes your right I totally forgot about drumalee, it shows how tough the junior championship is going to be, it's hard to call the championship winner of senior intermediate and junior, I think it will be fascinating

Buchannan could be set for spell on sidelines.

The club championship should now start the week after the Ulster final and hopefully be run off within 10 /11 weeks(before end of sept).
It will give Mattie time to put his own stamp on the panel. Pick who he thinks are good enough not what anybody else thinks.
Hopefully with half of July all of august and sept now available the CB will give the 3 competitions the respect it deserves by playing games at reasonable times, doubling up on decent fixtures and making early quarter and semi final draws so as to give teams time to plan who their playing against.

Cavan Minors play The All Ireland Quarter Final on W/E August 5/7 Cavan Senior Intermediate and Junior Championship due to commence on weekend July 28/30.
While clubs like Kingscourt, Ramor Utd, Cavan Gaels an Crosserlough for example would not be effected as none of these big clubs would be using Cavan Minors on their team, it would be very unfair to ask the smaller clubs with County Minors such as Knockbride, Munterconnaught and Drung to play without their players.
Championship Matches involving small clubs should not go ahead unless the club wants to play without their County Minors, does the County Board think or care about small clubs. Any Thoughts?

Show can't stop because of minor championship, if they got to an All Ireland Final the games would never get played. In any case, none of the current county minors ever kicked a competitive ball for their senior team in league or championship so its not like clubs are losing players that were already playing.

This years Senior championship could turn out to be the most competitive and closest championship for years.
Any 1 of 4/5 could win it.
Ramor would probably be favourites but you can't write off Castlerahen or Kingscourt or even Cavan gaels for that matter.
Biggest problem the Gaels have is knowing their best side. They have s tough opener against lacken.

How about people in Cavan forget about the what if our county player gets injuried playing with the club and just play the games. Counties like Dublin in football and Kilkenny in hurling play club championship when the county team is still in competition and it does them no harm.

Sorry to spoil your attempt at doom and gloom but dubs played a round of championship in June. Next round after they exit county championship. That will probably be September. On top of that, as they do straight knockout some clubs now have no competitive games until 2018.

Well the last game in it was over two months ago and the next one could be end of September when Dublin are finished. So absolutely no exaggeration.

People are saying that Ramor will be around for the next ten years. Everyone else will be around just as long. Dont get carried away with them winning one championship. The second one will be even harder to win. This will be a very interesting championship.
