1784777 Are you sure that's not just the smell of the agricultural college ?i always said Ballyhaise would be the most likely winners and I still stick by that !

Did you win those medals with Crosserlough? would probably explain the memory loss:) and also to keep you up to date its Division 2 not 2a or anything else!!!
Have to agree with you on young Reilly he was a real threat to Ballyhaise on Sat night,it was only when Haise moved Duffy onto him that they started to take control, in fact it was the winning of the game for them as the Bridge one managed to score one point after the switch.

Cavanbyrd, to be fair, using a 5 csenior medals line (even if true) is not going to gain you much respect on here.

we will give you the benefit of the doubt and put the whole thing down to excitment at entering the forum...

I expect Arva to shade it on Belturbet and I'm going for an upset and Drumlane to win the other semi with Ryan Connolly running the show!

Hotel Kilmore Intermediate Championship 2015
Semi Final

18-09-2015 (Fri) @ 20:15
Ballyhaise V Drumlane

Referee: Tony Gregory

19-09-2015 (Sat) @17:00
Arva V Belturbet

Referee: Gerry Sheridan

What's the predictions lads? Should be two very close games, not much between any of the four teams left and I'm sure all four feel they could win it out. Drumlane Belturbet would make for a great final if that's the way it pans out

If Arva can snuff out Belturbet's goal threat then I cant see Belturbet outscoring Arva on points
have to go with Ballyhaise in the other.

Arva and Ballyhaise to win

Arva conceded 3 goals against Drung, who in fairness wouldn't pose near the goal threat that belturbet do. I can see this been s high scoring game with belturbet to win

Ballyhaise v Drumlane.....Should be a good game tonight, Drumlane are probably the best prospect in stopping odds-on Ballyhaise in winning IFC, still Ballyhaise should win tonight and win it out.

Belturbet v Arva.....Belturbet going well and seem to be peaking at the right time, if they play to their potential don't think arva will live with them

Intermediate final should be a very close affair. The two favourites are in the final. Ballyhaise came through a tough challenge from drumlane, they were the best team for 50 mins of the game but still could have been bet. Arva very lucky to beat belturbet but are now in their third final in 3 years. Both teams came from behind in their quarter and semi finals to win so can't see either team panicking in the final if they are behind coming near the end of the game, should go right down to the final whistle. I think the experience of winning a final last year should see Arva through.

Is it true arva have only lost one game this year ? Sury they have the momentum going into this game ?

Arva have lost 4 games this year, same as Ballyhaise. That been said, 3 of arva's defeats were in the Breffni league

Should be good intermediate final this weekend. Ballyhaise are the standout team in IFC and if they hit top gear this weekend Arva wont live with them

Any word on team selections in either camp ? It should be an interesting final unlike last year where Ballyhaise just didn't show up . Both teams are littered with talent especially the forwards and I think arva should scrape it

Middling game to watch. Ballyhaise should have driven it home earlier but credit to Arva for sticking with it. Arva's demise was their lack of nous up front. In the first half they reminded me a lot of the Cavan senior team, once their forwards got on the ball in a scoring opportunity they panicked and laid it off. But they were much improved in the second half.

For me the man of the match would have to be Stephen Smith for Ballyhaise. He was outstanding.

Pray that Kevin Tierney gets back into the blue of Cavan. He is, on form, the best forward in the county.
