I hope this team is not over-hyped by too many.
They beat a poor Monaghan team and while that's good let's not get carried away.
There will be much tougher battles ahead.

The two Fortunes impressed me.
Well organised side, great to see that honesty driving forward. Monaghan weren't great, but we have a lot of talent .

David Brady and Conor Brady in Midfield Impressed along with fortune #6 had a great performance, Young Gannons Pace caused all sorts of problems.

David Brady great pair of hands although not fully fit yet after his injuries. If they can get him fit in time your looking at the possibility of another Ulster Minor Final...

good win against a poor monaghan team on the day.
but a lot to work
Alot of good player on the bench James brady, conor smith, daragh kennedy, paul leddy,Lewis Fay Cooper Stuart Dunne and others so hopefully they can push the starting 15 and get more form them

As a fellow club man of David's I know he's working to get fully fit, excellent player but for over a year now serious injuries were holding him back. Why they left him on the field Sunday was because he needed the time in the legs and that was visible to see.

Some people on here getting way ahead of themselves. Monaghan hadn't won a game in the Minor League and were very poor on Sunday. Much tougher tests lie ahead and nobody should be looking past the Semi Final. There's talent there and the lads are playing well but let's stay grounded.

any word on the big rehill lad from mountnugent? I hear his missed out due to hamstring injury. He would add extra power and scoring ability to midfield. was very impressed by him in antrim game

Adam Rehill from what I have heard wont be back for at least another 6 weeks. A big loss to this team as he has the ability to be starting in midfield

So the Minors will face Antrim who came back well to beat Fermanagh. We beat them in the Minor League earlier in the year I believe but it was a fairly close run contest.

I'm told that Donegal have a very strong minor team and connections are aiming not just for Ulster but for the All Ireland itself.
I wonder if we can stop them? Would be nice.

I wonder how many of those Donegal lads in this years minor team were there last year ..? They would have good experience and the defeat in the AI final will be driving them on ... too early to think about that though we have to get over Antrim first but an Ulster final would be great for these lads (a win better of course) and I assume there are still quarter finals so if they got to an ulster final then they still have another game ...

Cavan minors will play at home in the semi-final.
They will be on before the Monaghan v Fermanagh semi-final.
Good crowd expected and ideal chance to get to the Ulster Final.

They had to be favorites for Ulster this considering the majority of them played together for St Pats one would expect them to win Ulster nothing less because of this alone. The will not draw a huge crowed it's fermanagh v Monaghan on the 21st day.
