Cavan Clubs in Ulster

Mowbar I agree that in the grand scheme of things Cavan Gaels are an average team, but what does that make the club you support, seeing as they are not as good as the Gaels.

I am not a Gaels man, I am a Killeshandra man, and its sad to say that you Mowbar display what I see from many of my own club's members, and which shows so much of what is wrong in Cavan football, too many small minded people who begrudge seeing any one better than them and who can't bring themselves to support our champions in Ulster or to make decisions for the betterment of football in Cavan, only thinking of their own little corner, only concerned with childish little digs at other clubs and supporters of other clubs, never mind that said club, such as Cacan Gaels are the best team in the county and have been for most of the last 15 years.

Lets not look at why no Cavan club, not just Cavan Gaels, have not won the Ulster title, lets not get into proper discussions and debates as to how to improve club football in Cavan, after all it might lead to my own little club not winning some mickey mouse junior c or reserve league or what ever. No its better to leave it as it is and begrudge whoever is the best of a bad bunch and who then fail in Ulster.

Urris , Inniskeen and Slaughtneil all advanced to the Ulster Finals in each grade, what might have been for the Cavan Clubs.
