Good to see the likes of Hyland Tinnelly and Corr get a game. Thought O Connor might have started. Good to see Jason Mc back as well. Strong enough team, should see off Limerick

Good to see Jack Brady making his first appearance of the year from the bench, and seemed to have to have done well. Another option in the forwards. Tinnelly and Niall Murray had good games, Tinnellys first start since the McKenna Cup where ha had been playing done , both players will have done their chances no harm ahead of the League final.

Nice to look at the table and see a 100% win record. Good to see fringe players getting game time as well, great to know that we have that strength in depth, that we can drop 10-11 players and bring in lads who can still get the job done. I commend the management team for that. Next thing in the calendar is the league final. We seem to have several players coming back from injury now so it should be full steam ahead come championship, I have a good feeling about Summer 2014. Here's hoping.

Congratulations to all involved for finishing off in style . Good to see we had the confidence throughout the campaign to call on a large base of players to contribute and stuck to our guns in giving the U21s the due respect they deserve . Positive management . Now for the cherry on top and a bit of silverware . Roll on Croker!!!!!!

10 wins out of 10 between our seniors and U-21s so far and only 1 goal conceded which is quite remarkable..! Keep up the good work boys and 2 cups on the sideboard would be brilliant before an assault on the Ulster Championship...!!!

Roscommon already have 2 cups on the sideboard, hastings cup which we beat Cavan in the semi-final and today a great result in the Connacht final and im very confident we are going to make it 3 cups in croker, roll on the 26th.

Great to have 7/7 but im sure the players are aware it will count for nothing if they do no beat Roscommon now on the 26th. Did not make the treck to Limerick myself but two rugby fanatics got the Munster game and went into the Gaelic grounds after! Their reports from the game (bear in mind they are predominantly rugby heads) say that the 1st half and the first 10mins of the second half were just a series of limerick attacks, mostly resulting in wides. Tinnelly was good throughout as was Lyng(although he slowed down the play a bit in parts). Givney tired near the end and was moved inside, understandably after missing a few games. Niall Murray was everywhere in the 1st half and was their shout for MOTM. Jack Brady came on, after recovering from his operation and caused a lot of problems by running at the defence, and gave a sense of urgency and pace to the attack, himself and Lyng seemed to have a good understanding and linked well. The referee was very picky and was blowing his whistle every 20 seconds. The defence was a little porous but again, may be because the referee was blowing for the minimal and lads were afraid to put the hit on. Thats the jist of what I heard lads. It is positive really as they have a lot to work on, got a few lads game time that will be used come summer and as by all accounts Limerick probably should have won, but we were missing the likes of McEnroe, Mackey, Martin Reilly, Feargal flanagan. Hopefully they can add a bit of silverware to the cabinet on the 26th.

we lost to Tyrone in McKenna cup, which shows that we really need to raise it to make inroads against the div 1 & 2 teams in Ulster championship

Has to be said that Armagh suffering relegation and us passing them out on the way to div 2 will not help their championship hopes. Just goes to show you the step up in standard between div 3 and div 2. But all focus on Roscommon now. Things are going along nicely for us, we have key men back now and a league final to prepare us for the Summer ahead.

surely the rosscommon game on 26th means sweet fa? sure promoted already and this "final" is just a glorified challenge match, good chance to get game time to a few squad players and give them expeirince in croker for summer ahead, result means nothing though.not exactly a sign of much ambition to be celebrating promotion from div 3! definitely think we will stay div 2 and at least challenge for promotion.

Tinnelly seems to score a couple of points every game he plays. Great quality to have in a wing back. Its a pity we didnt see more of him during the league.
