Changes were slow in previos years so hopefully that doesn't continue. Ryan Connolly is a great talent.Strong wind in second half. Play Down next week in Downpatrick, they beat Monaghan today 1-11 to 1-9

Conditions were terrible pitch was very wet and soft I noticed a lot of the Armagh players were wearing the wrong boots for the pitch not suitable at all. Nice looking minor team good player awareness good to see and no selfish players on the Cavan side thats nice to see, good luck to Garry and his set up

Great win by Cavan Minors vs. Armagh. Missing a good few players still but what was there put in a good team performance. Changes made were spot on and well timed, in my view. Never looked like losing and put in a good hour's work for there first competitive game of the year. Obviously a strong squad which is vital. Best of luck to them vs. Down.

Ramor's James Brady also came on as a sub and scored a decent point. Doubt very much it will be the same Armagh team come the Championship.

Cavan team will also be greatly changed come championship time, all teams use the Ulster minor league as pure experimentation, its the only way to really look at players.Darragh Gannon,Conor Bradley,Harry o Neill,Ben Conaty,Pierce Smith,Thomas Galligan,Caoimhin Reilly are just 7 who are highly likely to be on it or thereabouts.
