Cork's Seamus Harnedy

Cork could be without Seamus Harnedy for next Saturday's meeting with Waterford after the full-forward was forced off in today's defeat to Galway.

Harnedy netted the Rebels' only goal in the first-half of their 1-27 to 1-21 defeat in Salthill, before having to be withdrawn by manager Kieran Kingston due to a hamstring injury.

While the extent of the injury is not yet known, the St Ita's attacker is set to undergo scans to discover whether or not he will be ruled out for a considerable length of time.

Cork host Waterford, who shocked Kilkenny in their respective Division 1A opener this afternoon, this coming Saturday at Pairc Ui Rinn (throw-in 7pm).
