Cork’s Mark Coleman was in red hot form last night (Wednesday) as he helped his native Blarney past Douglas in the U21 championship with a remarkable 0-15 haul.

Blarney ran out 0-18 to 1-12 winners on the night at Pairc Ui Rinn after having trailed their counterparts by five points at the half.

All Star nominee Coleman landed twelve of his points total from frees while fellow county men Brian Turnbull and Shane Kingston recorded 1-5 and 0-5 respectively for Douglas.

Coleman will be in action again this Sunday when he looks to help UCC to victory over Imokilly in the senior championship.
