There will be no Cusack Cup games this weekend as the 13-day rule comes into effect.

Clare due to play in the All-Ireland SHC qualifiers on July 4th and the county management are allowed sole access to the players for 13 days before that fixture.

There were four games down for decision, but they now have to be rescheduled for another date, according to County Board chairman Michael McDonagh.

"Because of all the injuries they have, we wanted to give the senior team a proper chance and that's why the last round is deferred," McDonagh told the Clare Champion.

"The games will be played on the first available date. It is very difficult to confirm any date yet until we see what happens on July 4th."
