Clarecastle will be the venue for Sunday's U21HC 'A' final between holders Sixmilebridge and Ballyea (throw-in 3pm).

A number of Clare's All-Ireland winners will be in action, including Hurler of the Year Tony Kelly, who is a key man for Ballyea. The final will also pit first cousins Conor Deasy (Sixmilebridge) and Niall Deasy (Ballyea) against each other.

Sixmilebridge's hopes could hinge on whether or not Jamie Shanahan is available. The county panellist missed the quarter and semi-final wins over Eire Og and Clonlara respectively and it remains to be seen if he will recovery in time from injury.

Meanwhile, Meelick were crowned U21HC 'C' champions last Saturday when they defeated Ennistymon by 1-10 to 0-8 in the final at the Eire Og grounds.
