S Golderick you do spout some dung in my opinion. Isn't management suppose to be able to manage? Manage all types? Individuals? Blend players together ? See a little further than average joe soap? Another words manage? Your trying to justify why the best forward in the county remains sitting in the house all because of a few simple mistakes by all parties 2 years ago. He didn't kill anybody just made a few wrong choices which privately maybe he regrets. That doesn't take anything away from his ability as a top class forward something we happen to need. So maybe everybody should pull their horns in for the betterment of Cavan football and let bygones be bygones. Ppl are calling for Seanies return for the simple reason what we have in the full forward line are not good enough end of story. Commitment and passion is one thing but a certain amount of skill and no how is also a vital ingredient . Now Seanie has that and if he can add that to some commitment and passion well he is bound to be an asset


I'd ask the same question of you that I asked Sean. What recent performance by Seanie are you basing this on?

So Sean, let me get this straight, you expect management to replace one of our dedicated panel with a lad who, leaving the Kildare debacle aside, hasn't played a decent game at inter county since the Wicklow game in 2010. Where he didn't start I might add. You have also admitted this individual has done nothing at club level to make him worthy of selection. So why ask for him to be brought in Sean?

Not sure where you have read I said he has done nothing at club level?? I would not be able to comment on that as I have not seen him play.

I am not a fan of S Johnston this is well documented so lets get this straight.

I do know well, how he is as a team player but the question once again was about the forwards I mentioned we have a player that has all that is required off a corner forward its that simple. His name is S. Johnston love him or loath him its that simple.

Are we going to dredge this issue up every time Cavan Seniors are beaten or we kick umpteen wides ???

A few points to add

1. The Future is Blue

2. Seanie never made the Future Blue

3. Our current players made the Future Blue, they deserve our faith and support

4. If we want the Future to continue to be Blue then we need to strengthen our squad with our underage successful footballers

Are they there and ready for inter county football.
I will watch as many matches as I can this season and see if any catch my eye not that it matters.
