U12 BOYS 

U 12 blitz today in Ramor. Team played well. All players had a game and put in a great effort. We had a good start winning our first game and were narrowly defeated in the second game. We played the hosts Ramor in the semifinals of the cup in the Michael Farrelly tournament. Ramor went on to win the cup. 

 

U11GIRLS SEMI FINAL

The U11 girls had a good win in the semi final clash against Lavey , although very tired after competing in a blitz Saturday in Ashbourne  the win was fully deserved. They set an early pace and were leading 5 pts to  2 pts at one stage but a good Lavey side came back at them by scoring another 3 points.  Our girls responded in fine style by winning the game 7 pts to laveys 5.pts  The victory had clinched us a place in the final against Mullahoran.

 

U15 GIRLS SEMI FINAL
Our U15 girls had a home semi final against Gowna under the lights on last Friday evening. The girls started steadily with some solid team work and kept the score board ticking over with goals from Ruth Smith and Eimear Smyth. There was also some excellent defensive work by our backs to keep the Gowna girls limited to one score in the first half. Score at half time was 2-04 : 0-01.

The girls carried on where they had left off in the second half with strong defending and good team work. Two more goals from Aoife Tynan and Aine Stafford helped seal it a for the girls with a final score of 4-12 : 1-01. It was an excellent team display that has put them into the Div 2 final were they will meet Lurgan. Time and Venue to be confirmed. Well done girls your place in the final is well deserved.
