Blotto
The Blotto Draw took place on Monday 14th August. The winning numbers were 12,16,17,21. There was no jackpot winner. The weekly winners of €25 were Tommy McNamee, Agnes Tierney, Leo McBreen, Brian Reilly Dunshaughlin, Pat O'Reilly Tullytreane. The next draw will be on Monday 21st August in The Crosskeys Inn. Jackpot is now €4,150.
Hotel Kilmore Intermediate Championship
Round 3 of the Hotel Kilmore Intermediate Championship continued over the weekend. Unfortunately Denn were beaten by Shercock on Sunday evening in Kingspan Breffni on a scoreline of 2-12 to 1-12. Denn will face Ballyhaise in Round 4 on Sunday evening 27th Augustat 7pm in Killygarry.
ACFL
Denn will play Killygarry in Round 1 of Brady's (Arva) Volkswagen ACFL Division 2 League on Saturday evening in St Matthews' Park, Crosskeys at 7pm.
Cavan Minors
Good luck to Oisin Kiernan & the Cavan Minor team & management who face Kerry in the All-Ireland Semi-final on Sunday August 20th in Croke Park at 1.30pm. Tickets are on sale from Kingspan Breffni Office - 049 4361032, via gaa.tickets.ie and selected Centra & SuperValu outlets.
Under 16 Championship
Well done to the Sliabh Glah Gaels Under 16 (Denn and Lavey) team who have reached the semi-final of the Under 16 Division 1 Championship after a hard fought 2-11 to 2-10 over Lough Uachtar Gaels on Thursday evening in Lavey.
Minor Championship
Denn have been drawn to play in the Minor B Championship along with Annalee Gaels, Blackwater Gaels, West Cavan Gaels, Kingscourt, Belturbet, Lough Uachtar Gaels, Killygarry, Mullahoran, Castlerahan & Maghera. Round 1 is against Annalee Gaels on Tuesday 22nd August in Drung GAA Grounds at 7.30pm.
Under 12 Sumer League
Denn Under 12 team were defeated by Cavan Gaels in the Grey Group semi-final on Sunday afternoon last.
Under 14 Championship
Denn will play in Division 4 of the Under 14 Championship alonfg with Bailieborough, Lacken, Mountnugent, Munterconnacht Maghera and Naomh Brid. Round 1 is against Lacken on Saturday 2nd September at 1.30pm, Round 2 against Bailieborough on Sunday 10th September at 12 noon, Round 3 against Mountnugent on Saturday 16th September at 1.30pm, Round 4 against Munterconnacht Maghera on Saturday 24th September at 1.30pm and Round 5 against Naomh Brid on Saturday 30th September at 1.30pm.
Camogie
Congratulations to the Denn U-16 Camogie team who defeated Castletara last week in the Div 2 Camogie Final - Team - Aoibhe Conaty, Hannah Fitzsimons, Maeve O" Reilly, Deirdre Reilly, Sarah Curran, Aoife Galligan, Aisling McEnroe, Megan Brady, Aoibhinn Lynch, Rachel McEnroe, Mia Hughes, Aisling Collins, Niamh Smith, Emma Brady , Casey Maher, Alannah Tierney, Sonia Cobey, Muireann Cusack Smith, Orla Mc Cabe & Alanna Brady. Thanks to players management and supporters.
Junior Camogie Final - Ballinagh v Kill in Kingspan Breffni at 2pm on Sunday 27th Aug followed by Senior Camogie Final between Laragh and Crosserlough at 4pm.
Denn Running Club
The Running Club has taken a break for the month of August and will resume again in September.
