The Senior Championship commences next Saturday evening (29th July) when we play Arva in round 1 in Kingspan Breffni at 8.00pm. See you all there.

Reserve

Our Reserve team were victorious against Mullahoran last Wednesday evening (19th July) in round 4 of the Championship. Final Score Castlerahan 2-15 to Mullahoran 2-8. We host Ballyhaise in the Division 1 Quarter Final tonight at 8.00pm. All support welcome!

Minor

Killygarry GAA Athletic Grounds was the venue for the much anticipated Minor League Final last Friday evening between Castlerahan and Mullahoran. Castlerahan started well and fought hard for the duration of the game but unfortunately Mullahoran proved to be the stronger team on the night. The final score was Castlerahan 0-10 to Mullahoran 3-13. Although the lads were beaten on this occasion there is no doubt that it was a great achievement to reach the final. With a dedicated management team and more hard work our minors are now focused on preparing for the Championship. Onwards and upwards! For more on the game see the sports section of this paper.

U16

Our U16's travelled to Our Lady of Lourdes Park in Mullahoran last Wednesday night (19th July) where they defeated Drumloman Gaels in the U16 Division 4, group 1, round 3. Final score was Castlerahan 10-10 to Drumloman Gaels 4-11. We host St. Aidan's Templeport this Thursday night (27th July) at 7.15pm in round 4.

U14

Killygarry Athletic Grounds was also the venue for the U14 Division 3 League Final last Friday evening (21st July) against St. Joseph's. Our lads played their socks off for the whole match but it was to be St. Joseph's night. Final score Castlerahan 2-6 to St. Joseph's 7-12. Training will continue each week in preparation for the Championship. Well done to the team and management for reaching the final after a lot of hard work throughout the season. Turn to the sports section for more on the game!
