Cavan

Well done to Cavan ladies on their terrific win in Kildare over the Lilywhites on Sunday on a score of 1-17 to 1-11. The results leaves Aidan McCabe's charges on 2 wins from 3. The ladies will face the Red Hands of Tyrone this coming Sunday at 2pm in a home game with a venue to be confirmed. The men meanwhile will resume battle against the Tyrone men this Sunday in Omagh. The Breffni boys will be confident after dispatching Tyrone early in the season in the McKenna cup however Tyrone have had the better of Cavan in the past meetings before Januarys pre-season game. The game throws in a 2:30pm and we would like to wish our county man Niall McDermott the very best of luck. Tickets are €15 for the game and can be bought in Gavin's Centra and if got before Sunday will be discounted at €12.
