Dinner Dance  

To celebrate the success of a great year join Kingscourt Stars Gaa on this Friday January 20th  for the presentation of medals to our Ladies County Champions, and our Men's Junior and Minor winning Championship teams. Promises to be a great night!! Dinner 7.30pm sharp. Music by Big Eazy! Limited tickets available from committee members at €40 per ticket.  

Lotto  

Lotto held in Clarkes. Numbers drawn 4; 17; 19; 30 Next jackpot €2200 in Dún a Rí.

McKenna Cup  

Another win for Cavan in the McKenna Cup. Cavan 2-14 Donegal 1-6. Well done Cavan  including Padraig Faulkner, Joe Dillon and James Farrelly. Next round V Ulster University on Wednesday January 18th at Kingspan Breffni Park. 

Cavan U21's  

Cavan played Westmeath in round 3 of the Hastings Cup last Saturday in Moate and beat them Cavan 1-16 Westmeath 2-10. They are now through to the semi final V Meath next weekend TBC. Best of luck Peter Corrigan and panel. 

Collection 

Thanks to committee members who took up a collection for Motor Neurone Disease at all local Masses last Sunday! Amount raised €1725. Thanks to all who supported. 

Cavan u16's 

Well done to  Cian Shekleton and Kevin Curtis who were part of the Cavan u16 panel that won the 2016 Gerry Reilly Tournament; and to Paddy Meade and Shane Duffy who were part of the Cavan U17 team that won the Damien Reid Cup. They received their medals recently at a reception in Cavan hosted by the Cavan Co Board. Comhghairdeas! 

Seniors  

 Training commences next week. Management team includes Bernie Murray, team manager, Paul O'Connor team coach and selector,  and selectors Sean M&F Farrelly and Gabriel Patterson. Best of  luck to all  for the season ahead!

Club Membership  

Membership fees are now due for 2017. Remember only paid up members for the year are eligible and insured to use the club facilities and train/play for Kingscourt Stars!  All forms of membership entitle the persons named to: Kingscourt Stars GAA Club membership / insurance for year,  Season ticket to all Kingscourt Stars GAA Club home league matches, Men's Senior, Junior, Ladies and underage boys & girls football games. (Game Pass Ticket will be given),  Text alerts on upcoming games, ticket information & events within the club,  Kingscourt Stars GAA Club member's names will be displayed on the Club Notice Board, Optional entry to the weekly Kingscourt Stars Club Lotto, depending on form of membership. Membership may be paid by direct debit or a one off cash payment. Further details from any committee member.  

Hurling  

Under 6/8/10;  Kingscourt group; Thursday 6.45-8pm in the Community Centre. €3 each and bring water bottle.  2017 Player Registration; U6/8/10; Registration for all existing and new players will be on Thursday February 2nd from 6.45pm in Kingscourt Community Centre.  New players can try hurling for free for the first two sessions in January to see if hurling is the game for you.
