Blotto
The Blotto Draw took place on Monday 18th July. The winning numbers were 12,14,15,28. There was no jackpot winner. The weekly winners of €25 were Eileen Conaty Crosskeys, Mary McPhilips Ardlougher, John Brady Farragh, Mark Quigley Ranrenagh, Tommy & Dympna Smith. The next draw will be on Monday 25th July in The Carraig Springs. Jackpot is now €1,400. Denn GFC Blotto can now be played online at www.smartlotto.ie

ACFL
The ACFL resumes this weekend with Round 3. Denn will play Killinkere in Killinkere on Saturday 23rd July at 7.30pm. Round 4 will be played on Friday 29th July and Round 8 will be played on Sunday 31st July.

Denn GFC Monthly Meeting
The monthly meeting of Denn GFC will take place on Thursday 28th July at 9pm in the clubrooms. All members are asked to attend.

Hotel Kilmore Senior Football Championship
The Hotel Kilmore Senior Championship will commence on the weekend of the 5th August.

Minor League Division 3
Congratulations to the Denn Minor team who defeated neighbours Lavey in the Minor League Division 3 Final on Tuesday evening last in Packie Devlin Park, Killeshandra in a clasely fought contest coming out the winners on a 1-14 to 1-10 scoreline.

Minor B Championship
The draw for the Minor B Championship was made at the weekend. Denn will face Belturbet in Round 1. The competition will begin on Tuesday 9th August.

Junior C Championship
Denn were defeated by neighbours Ballinagh in Round 3 of the Junior C Championship on Friday evening last on a scoreline of 2-10 to 0-12. 

Under 16 Championship
Denn have been drawn in Group 1 in Division 4 of the Under 16 Championship with Belturbet, Bailieborough, Cootehill, Drumlane, Killinkere & Maghera. In Round 2 Denn defeated Drumlane on a scoreline of 2-16 to 2-10.
In Round 3 the team travel to Killinkere on Tuesday evening 26th July to play Killinkere at 7.30pm.

All Ireland Qualifiers
Hard luck to the Cavan Senior team who were defeated by Derry in Round 3A of the All Ireland Qualifiers on Saturday last. 

Under 14 Championship
The Under 14 Championship commenced on Tuesday 19th July. Denn are in Group 2 in Division 3 with Cootehill, Drumgoon, Kingscourt, Knockbride & St. Joseph's. In Round 1 is Denn were defeated by Knockbride on a scorleine of 7-11 to 4-11.

Under 12 Summer League
Denn will play Mountnugent in Round 4 of Group E in Mountnugent at 7pm on Monday 25th July.

Camogie
Congratulations to Denn Camogie Club who won the Alan Cregan Cup Tournament in Erin's Isle GAA, Dublin on Saturday last. This is our second year entering this competition. The girls fought hard in all their matches with great displays of Camogie from all. Having won the Shield Final last year the girls had their sights on the Cup which they won after an entertaining final against Lucan.

The Junior Team won the first round of the championship against Drumgoon last Friday evening. They will play the winners of Ballinagh & Kill this Friday 22nd July - see Facebook page for times/venues.

Couch to 5K
Denn GAA Juvenile Football Club Couch to 5K is taking a break for the month of August ans will restart again in September.

Match Day Volunteers

Ulster University offering Gaelic Football Scholarships for 2016/2017
Ulster University has announced that once again it will be offering GAA High Performance Sport Scholarships in its Gaelic Football Scholarship Programme for the 2016/2017 season. The Ulster University will award scholarships specifically to students who are competing and succeeding at the highest level. For further information and details on the Scholarship Scheme please send expressions of interest to the University GAA Coordinator, Paul Rouse by email to [email protected]

Strictly Come Dancing
Denn GFC are getting their dancing shoes out and are hosting Strictly Come Dancing on November 20th 2016. So save the date as a great night entertainment's is planned. Further updates in the coming weeks.
