Pitch Opening
Crosserlough GFC are proud to announce the opening of their new 4G training pitch in Dr. Plunkett Park, Kilnaleck
This pitch is the first stage in the 5 year redevelopment plan which will see the club moving forward to 2020.
The day will begin with a the Tom Dowd memorial tournament from 9am - 1pm, followed by the Underage games and a
camogie match. there will also be a 5km Walk in aid of Kilnaleck Tidy Towns there will be a family entertainment wiht face-painting and games
and the pitch will be officially opened by Minister Heather Humphries at 5:45. The day will be completed by a game from
our victorious "Crosserlough Young Irelanders" Legends Team.
Junior camogie Championship Winners.
Congratulations to the Junior ladies who secured the double, with a convincing win ,2-13 to 3 points over Lacken. Crosserlough dominated the game from the throw in, and ran out easy winners. All players put in a serious effort, and it paid off with a second cup for 2015. Congratulations to Fainche O Reilly, who was awarded player of the match.
Senior camogie
Crosserlough seniors take on Castletara next sat evening at 5.30pm, venue to be decided. This is a crucial game as a place in the final awaits the winners.
