U13 championship

Well done to our U13 team who secured the Division 4 championship trophy with a hard earned two point win over Kingscourt on Sunday last. The team were undefeated throughout the championship. Thanks to the coaching team of John Lovett, Ronan Coleman and Anthony Lynch for their hard work and to the parents and guardians for their support.

Gerry Reilly Memorial Cup

Well done to Castlerahan U16s Aaron Reilly and Karl Cosgrove and to the rest of the Cavan U16 team and management on retaining the Gerry Reilly Memorial Cup with victory over Dublin on Sunday evening last.

Blood Donor Clinic

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service's mobile blood donor clinic will be in St. Joseph's Hall on Thursday, 6th August from 4:30 to 8pm.

Senior

We hosted Cavan Gaels in round 8 of the ACFL on Sunday last and were fortunate to grasp a draw with one of the last kicks of the game; Ronan Flanagan managing to find the back of the Cavan Gaels net three minutes into injury time. Full-time scoreline: Castlerahan 2-5 to 1-8 Cavan Gaels.

Round 1 of the championship v Killeshandra will take place next weekend. Fixture to be confirmed.

Junior B championship

Our junior team travel to Mullahoran on Wednesday evening for round 2 of the championship v Mullahoran. Throw-in at 8pm.

U16

Our U16 footballers defeated Denn in round 4 of the championship on Thursday evening last in Ballyjamesduff. Full-time scoreline: Castlerahan 4-11 to 1-14 Denn. We take on Killinkere in the last group game on Thursday evening at 7:30pm in Killinkere.

U12

Our U12 footballers will participate in the 'orange' group of the summer league which commences on Wednesday evening v Cavan Gaels. Throw in at 7:30pm in Ballyjamesduff. The remaining six rounds take place on the following dates: Tuesday, 4th; Saturday 8th; Monday, 10th; Saturday, 15th; Monday, 17th and Saturday 22nd August. The semi-finals will take place on Saturday, 29th August with the finals taking place on Saturday, 5th and Sunday, 6th September.
