Race Night

We will be holding a pulley horse race night in Glan on this Friday (May 1st). Sure to be a great nights entertainment. We will be starting shortly after the Kingscourt game in the park ends. Please do come out and support.

Text Alert System

Any club member who wants to be included in the text alert system please text your name and mobile phone number to 086 8315655. This will be used for example to advise of match venue changes, meeting notifications, match cancellations, etc. The system should be up and running this week with a test message being sent to all signed up later in the week. Thanks to all who have sent in their details so far.

 

Underage Quiz

The underage quiz was held on Friday (April 24th) in the parochial hall. Thanks to all those who supported and donated spot prizes or helped out to run the quiz. Thanks especially to our quizmaster Donie Deneher who as usual had an excellent blend of questions to make sure everyone was well challenged. We will be moving back to our regular slot on Good Friday for next years quiz.

Lotto Results

Last draw was held in Sheridans on April 21st . There was no winner of the €4,200 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 19, 22, 26 and 30.

ACFL League

Hard luck to the seniors who were beaten on Sunday by 3 points against the Gaels in Terry Coyle park. We played a significant proportion of the match with 14 men after an early sending off and battled hard for the rest of the match to no avail. Next match will take place this Friday evening at 7:30pm at home to Kingscourt. Please support.

After an entertaining game vs Butlersbridge in the park, Mullahoran ran out winners in this competitive u12 game. The boys have one game left in the Spring League and are as yet unbeaten.
