Seniors

Best of luck to our Seniors and our management team who get their Division 2 Breffni League season underway this Sunday February 22nd with a home tie against Munterconnacht at 2.30 p.m.

Cavan Ladies
Best wishes to our county duo Caron Fay and Sarah Murray and the Cavan ladies who are away to Westmeath this Sunday Feb 22nd  at 2pm in Round 3 of the Division 2 League. In other news the Cavan Senior Ladies have been drawn to face Tyrone in the Quarter Finals of the Ulster Senior Championship.

Alan Brown & John Mitchel's
Commiserations to Belturbet man Alan Brown and John Mitchel's GAA club  from Liverpool who were defeated by 0-8 to 0-5 by Kerry side Brosna in the All Ireland Junior Club Championship final last Saturday in Croke Park.

Ladies 9-A-Side League
Commiserations to our ladies team who were defeated by Lurgan in their Division 1 9-A-Side League opener last Sunday in Virginia. Best of luck to the ladies who face Mullahoran at home  in Round 2 this Sunday February 22nd.

St.Pats Cavan
Congratulations to St. Patrick's College Cavan who booked their place in the MacRory Cup Semi Final with a 2-15 to 0-7 Quarter Final victory over St.Eunan's from Letterkenny last Saturday in Tyrone.

Word of thanks
Belturbet Ladies football club would like to thank Ellen Mc Carron (Monaghan Ladies) and Roisin O'Keefe (Cavan Ladies) who visited Belturbet in January. The county duo gave a very informative and interesting talk to our girls about diet and nutrition and the importance of incorporating exercise and activity into their everyday lives.  We were delighted they took time out from their busy training and work schedules to visit us and wish them both the best of luck with their county and club teams  for 2015.

Minors
Our minors are in Division 3 of the Minor League this year which gets underway on Saturday February 28th when our minors face Lavey at home. We will also face Ballinagh away , Ballymachugh at home, Denn at home and Cornafean away .

U16's
Our U16's will compete in Division 3 of the U16 league this year. Denn, Castlerahan, Cootehill, Blackwater Gaels, Bailieborough, Cuchulainns and Templeport will provide the opposition in our group.

Congrats Kevin & Sheena
Congratulations to our senior player Kevin McConnell and Sheena McInerney on news of their recent engagement. Kevin has served the club both on and off the field with great distinction down through the years through playing, coaching underage teams and helping out with the Belturbet carnival in recent years and we wish both him and Sheena the very best wishes in their future life together.

Senior Ladies
Senior Ladies training has  recommenced and at present takes place on Sunday mornings in  the Astroturf, Belturbet at 11am.  Enquiries to 086 1940360.  New players welcome.

Cavan U14 Girls Panelists
Congratulations to Orlaith Smith, Caitlin Crane and Aine Dennehey who have earned their places on the 2015 U14 Cavan County panel, we wish them the very best of luck for the season ahead.
Underage Girls Training
Belturbet Girls underage training has recommenced, taking place every Saturday morning in Redhills GAA pitch.  11am to 12pm: U8, U10 & U12.  12 noon to 1pm: U14 & U16.  New players welcome

Club Membership
For those wanting to pay the standard club membership fees for 2015 individual  membership for a player or club member is €50 per person. Family Membership costs are set at €100. Club Membership can be paid to either Mark Lawlor or Alan Traynor.

Club Belturbet was launched at the club AGM. Club Belturbet Membership offers a very attractive package for both players and members and can be paid by Standing Order, Cheque or by Cash. Below is the following Membership Categories.

€240.00/per year = €20 per month.
€260.00(Lotto 52 x 5) + €50 Membership + €64.00(Home Game Entry).

  Senior Scor
Senior Scor 2015 takes place in Killeshandra this Saturday evening February 21st at 7pm. Anyone interested in taking part please contact Goretti McDonald on 0872238276 or Liz McDermott on 0863260096. The usual disciplines apply- Leiriu(Novelty Act), Recitation, Solo Singing, Instrumental Music, Ballad Groups, Ceili and Set Dancing. Please come along and support the Rory O'Moore's.
