AGM

Our AGM took place on the 16th of November in the Club room, this was one of the most well attended meetings in years and Chairman Ciaran Caffrey thanked every one for attending.  Fr Tom opened the meeting with a prayer and Ciaran Caffrey proposed there should be a minute silence for all the members and friends that died in the parish during the year and most recently Paddy Maguire (a life long friend of Hugh McGovern), Sean Flanagan (Aughawillian) & Mrs. Smith (Frank Smiths Mother) Aughawillian.

Pauric McGovern addressed the members with a well informed synopsis of the past year and acknowledged that a new management team has been formed with Adrian McGovern being appointed as Manager and Noelle Kelleher taking up a new role as Team Coordinator.

Out going Treasurer Elizabeth Baxter had yet again this years records in pristine shape and a healthy balance was noted.

Under age report was giving by Dernacrieve Gaels Chairman Gerry Prior and backed up by Aidan Cassidy, it was yet again another fruitful year on the field for these young players and the success of U14's and U12's was some of the highlights of the year.

Mary Flanagan gave a Scor report and wished Eoghan Baxter the best of luck as he is representing the Club in the first heats.

 

Out going Chairman Ciaran Caffrey addressed the members with his Chairman's report and thanked all who helped him out during the year, the highlight of the year was No So Strictly Come Dancing and this proved to be a great success.

Ciaran wished the new committee & Management the best of luck in the coming year and closed the meeting.
