Gowna GFC Club Notes
July 21, 2014Gowna GFC are hosting Seamus O'Rourke latest play on Thursday the 24th of July at 8.30pm in ST.Bridget's Community Centre, Gowna. Padraig Potts Guide to walking is written and Performed by Seamus O'Rourke. Tickets are €10 and are available in all local shops.
Senior Championship
Gowna play Cavan Gaels on Friday the 25th of July at 8pm in Breffni Park in the first round of the Championship. This is the first game of the championship and let hope we can start off with a victory against the competition favourites. Hopefully everyone is there in their green and red colours to support Michael and the players.
Truagh Gaels Blitz
Well done to the Gowna under 10's who beat first Fermanaghs in the final of the Truagh Gaels Blitz.
Southern Gaels (Gowna/Lacken)
It was a good week for Southern Gaels with the Minors beating St.Joe's 2-11 to 0-11 in the Division One semi final. Aaron Brady and Thomas Gailligan with the goals.
They now play Ramor United in the Final. The U16s beat Cavan Gaels 2-11 to 1-9 in the first round of the championship. Gowna's Ruadhan McDonnell with the two goals. Tweet
