Lotto : There was no winner of this week's lotto jackpot. The €40 winners were Fidelma O'Rourke, Annagh, Cornafean; Amy Wharton, Crossdoney; Siobhan McKiernan, Cornafean; Clare Gormley, Arva. Next week's jackpot is €4500.

GAA : Cornafean claimed their first silverware of the season with a one point victory over Shercock in the Breffni League Final in Kingspan Breffni Park. In the first half Cornafean never really got going with a number of wides and nerves having an effect on their performance. With a good team talk at half time and a good team effort the second half was where the game was won by the slimmest of margins. Shercock slipped ahead with a goal with fifteen into the second half. Cornafean answered them back with a well taken goal and the game sprung to life. There were missed opportunities on both sides but Cornafean ran out winners by a single point with a score of 1-08 to 1-07.
